The Flambeau Valley Arts Association brings many touring musicians and dramatic performances to the area, and most of the performances are held at the high school auditorium. Several local museums and visitor centers illustrate the local history and how the area was settled by railroad workers and loggers. The Sisters’ Farm Trail and Blue Hills trails and the Riverview Trail offer many hiking and biking opportunities for those who wish to get a wonderful view of the Flambeau River, or enjoy the beauty of nature. There are also many local opportunities for mountain biking, skiing, kayaking, golfing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Rusk County is also a geocaching destination, with dozens of caches hidden along trails and at historic sites.
