Awesome outdoor adventures await in Schroon Lake! In the winter locals enjoy skiing on the local tow hill, ice fishing, caving, snowshoeing and sledding. Cosy shops and restaurants beckon outdoor adventurers back into town, as does the town’s well known performing arts scene. There are many plays and concerts to attend. In the warmer months residents enjoy the sandy beaches along the lake, as well as take part in many water sports, such are water skiing, boating and fishing. There is an annual lobster bake, regular open mic nights and the town works with the high school so that many fun events are offered to students. This may be a small town, but there is always something to do, and the Adirondacks offer a beautiful backdrop to all outdoor activities!
