Community Information

The historic village of Red Creek, New York was settled around 1811 and is only two hours from the magnificent Niagara Falls. Red Creek is known for its beautiful surroundings, including picturesque sunsets over Lake Ontario. The Sterling Nature Center, located in nearby Sterling, NY, provides over 10 miles of breathtaking hiking trails, as well as 1,400 acres of preserved land, with many observation decks and nature exhibits. There are also historical museums in the area, including The Little Red Schoolhouse Museum. Red Creek is well known for its access to boating, fishing, hunting, camping, skiing, hiking, golfing, and swimming. The village is approximately 40 miles from the City of Syracuse and 50 miles from the City of Rochester. This small, but intimate village offers an endless amount of activities for those who love the outdoors.

The high school is renowned for offering dual-credit college courses, allowing students to get a head start on their college education. Students that have graduated from Red Creek have gone on to top universities such as Cornell, Duke, and Syracuse, as well as many other great schools. The district has seven state-of-the-art computer labs, three mobile wireless labs, along with computers and printers in every classroom.
