Recognized as the number one public high school in Maine with an international program, Orono High School's partnership with the University of Maine allows international students to live on the university's beautiful campus. Orono High School provides each student with a MacBook Air laptop and offers a rigorous and diverse selection of courses. Orono High School allows qualified international students to take one course at the University of Maine for both high school and college credit. Beyond the classroom the school offers 16 varsity athletic programs and 23 clubs. Orono High School is a "shining gem" preparing students to excel both inside and outside of the classroom.
