Community Information

Ranked as one of the top 100 cities to live in the United States, Idaho Falls is a dream town for the outdoor adventurer. This area offers incredible views of the waterfalls and Grand Teton Mountains (only 90 minutes away) and the Snake River is a world class fly fishing location. The Bonneville high schools have ski clubs that take students to local mountains as well as famous venues such as Jackson Hole, WY. The Sawtooth Mountains are less than 2 hours away, the St. Anthony Sand Dunes are an hour away with thousands of acres of four wheeling territory. Craters of the Moon National Monument is an hour away with huge lava fields and ice caves and Yellowstone National Park is only a 90 minute drive from Idaho Falls. Most residents own RVs and students in this area never lack camping opportunities. The many natural hot springs offer relaxation and swimming year round. If a break from fresh air is needed, this town is home to the Willard Art Center, The Colonial Theatre, and Civic Auditorium, which all provide year-round musical concerts, plays, and events.
